  • Assisted with collecting, analyzing, and reporting on Department of Education variables pertaining to academic achievement and matriculation.
  • Used SPSS to performed statistical analysis on variables to determine extent to which the program was accomplishing stated goals.
  • Analyzed pre and post health survey results and created graphics for presentations.

National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering

  • Created a DataBook to identify trends in Under-Represented Minority academic achievement over the past 40 years. Data was collected from multiple sources, and then graphics were created and imported into PowerPoint for presentation.  
  • Provided evaluation services on the Graduating Scholars Survey and Scholar Orientation Survey, completed annually from 2008 to 2013.
  • Facilitated evaluation of a program that encourages underrepresented minorities to enter college and major in science, technology, engineering, and math fields by soliciting feedback from scholars.
  • Collected data from WebCaspar to inform the program on the number and demographics of graduating engineers, by year.
  • Analyzed the results of data collected using SPSS to write evaluation reports and research briefs, and provided recommendations to the Program.

Morehouse College

  • Provided evaluation services on the Peer Led Team Learning survey.
  • Created SPSS Codebook, then coded and entered surveys into SPSS.
  • Utilized SPSS to analyze qualitative and quantitative responses and identify variables with significance.

Brown University

  • Provided evaluation services on the Leadership Alliance Summer Research Early Identification Program surveys completed annually from 2002 to 2009.
  • Created SPSS codebook, then coded and entered surveys into SPSS.
  • Analyzed the results of data collected using SPSS to write summative and formative evaluation reports and provided recommendations to the Program.

National Institute of Health / Frehill Research Services

  • Reviewed journal articles and scientific literature and provided citation information and study characteristics to identify caliber of research and findings.  

New Mexico Alliance for Minority Participation

  • Evaluated the Alliance for Minority Participation's Bridge to the Doctorate Program, funded by the National Science Foundation, to determine if the program was effectively transitioning underrepresented students through master's degrees to doctoral programs.
  • Designed intake and exit interviews, annual surveys, and focus groups for Program students.
  • Conducted interviews, surveys, and focus groups with students and faculty.
  • Analyzed the results of data collected using SPSS, NVivo, and Excel to write evaluation reports, inform grant proposals, and provide recommendations to the Program.
